From Rockville, MD and Bethesda, MD:
- Take I-270 to I-495
- Take Eastbound I-495 towards Virginia
- Take I-495 to GW Parkway towards Washington, DC
- Take GW Parkway to I-395 towards Washington, DC
- Take the 14th Street Bridge Exit
- Stay on 14th Street pass the first Pennsylvania Avenue (on right)
- Make a left at the next Pennsylvania Avenue (on left)

From Northern Virginia:
- Take I-66 East to Washington
- Exit I-66 via ramp at sign reading “E Street and I-66” going northeast
- Continue on the E Street Expressway at sign reading “E Street”
- Continue on the ramp and go east

- Turn left on 14th Street, NW and continue north
